Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Piping Stress Engineer with expertise in CEASER and
Autopipe software to join our engineering team for an Oil & Gas project. The ideal candidate
will have 8+ years of experience in performing stress analysis and ensuring the integrity of
piping systems in compliance with industry codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform piping stress analysis using CEASER and Autopipe to ensure safe and
    efficient operation of piping systems in Oil & Gas projects.
  • Analyze the effects of thermal, pressure, and dynamic loads on piping systems and
    their components.
  • Develop and review stress reports, including load cases, nozzle loads, and flexibility
    analysis, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry codes (ASME,
    ANSI, API, etc.).
  • Work closely with design and engineering teams to ensure proper selection of
    materials and components for piping systems.
  • Perform pipe routing reviews to ensure alignment with stress analysis results,
    minimizing issues during installation.
  • Provide technical input for the development of project specifications, design
    standards, and engineering calculations.
  • Review and approve stress analysis documentation and calculations, ensuring
    compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, structural, civil) to
    resolve design and operational issues related to piping systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve piping system issues, including flexibility, support design,
    and stress-related problems.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on piping stress
    analysis and software usage

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Piping Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience in piping stress analysis in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Extensive experience with CEASER II and Autopipe software for piping stress
    analysis and design.
  • Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME B31.3, ASME B31.8, API
    570, etc.).
  • Expertise in thermal, pressure, and dynamic load analysis and their impact on piping
    systems.
  • Experience with pipe support design, including the selection and placement of
    supports, guides, and anchors.
  • Familiarity with the design and analysis of critical piping systems in upstream,
    downstream, or offshore Oil & Gas facilities.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, handling multiple projects
    and tasks.

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in piping stress analysis for Oil & Gas projects, with a strong
    background in CEASER II and Autopipe.
  • Hands-on experience with the stress analysis of piping systems, including high-pressure, high-temperature, and seismic considerations.
  • Experience with offshore or onshore facilities, particularly in hazardous environment
