Instrumentation Designer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Instrument Designer to join our engineering team for a major
Oil & Gas project. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing instrumentation
systems using S3D (Smart Plant 3D) and E3D tools. You will work closely with engineers
and other design teams to create accurate and efficient instrument designs that meet project
specifications and industry standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and model instrumentation systems using S3D and E3D software for Oil &
  Gas projects.
• Develop detailed drawings, instrument layouts, and cable routing diagrams.
• Coordinate with engineers to ensure designs comply with project specifications and
  safety standards.
• Ensure proper integration of instrumentation into the overall plant design, meeting
  industry standards.
• Review and update designs based on client feedback, technical changes, and
  construction requirements.
• Perform clash detection and resolution in 3D designs using S3D/E3D tools.
• Support the preparation of design documentation, including specifications, reports,
  and material requisitions.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of design milestones.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Instrument Designer in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficiency in S3D (Smart Plant 3D) and E3D design tools.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, control panels, and field devices.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISA, IEC, API).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• A degree or diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  (preferred)

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in instrument design, with a focus on S3D and E3D software
  tools.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in designing instrumentation for
  upstream or downstream facilities.
