Learn How We Established A Dedicated Offshore Embedded Software Center For A Global Automotive OEM

Project Background

The objective of our long-term partnership was to provide innovative product support services to our customer so that they could focus exclusively on their core OEM business. In addition to this objective, our customer was very focused on improving performance using state-of-the-art technologies, achieving significant cost savings and substantially compressed timelines for the deliverables. The key requirement was for a sizeable automotive team that had knowledge of various Tier One solutions used by our customer. The team was required to help them conceive requirements, develop software and perform verification for a broad variety of their products including body electronics and networking solutions.

What we did

We formed a highly experienced team with expertise in Automotive Tier One solutions. Beyond experienced developers, testers and requirement engineers in the automotive domain, we also brought in our technical leadership experienced in powertrain, body electronics in gas and EV to design the appropriate process suitable for ASPICE. We used a very effective governance model that ensured regulation compliant development practices and various tools and technologies to meet the performance and quality goals of the customer. We ensured a smooth and no-hassle dual shore delivery model that ensured both ease of right shoring and the quality of the end products.
