Job Description
We are primarily looking for candidates with experience in the following industries:
- Industrial
- Heavy Industries
- Construction Equipment
- Oil & Gas
- Energy/Power sector
Note: We are not considering profiles from the Aerospace or Automotive domains at this time.
- Simulation and Analysis
Perform structural, thermal, dynamic, and fatigue analysis using FEA tools
Develop and validate finite element models for components, assemblies, and full systems.
Conduct linear and nonlinear analysis, including static, transient, and modal analysis.
Perform crash, impact, and durability simulations, depending on industry requirements.
- Model Preparation and Meshing
Create high-quality finite element meshes to ensure accurate and efficient simulations.
Simplify complex geometries while maintaining model accuracy.
Apply appropriate boundary conditions, loads, and constraints.
- Design Optimization
Work closely with design and product development teams to optimize product structures.
Suggest material changes, thickness adjustments, and structural modifications to improve performance.
Support lightweighting and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Documentation and Reporting
Prepare detailed technical reports, including methodology, assumptions, and results.
Present findings to stakeholders and provide design recommendations.
Maintain FEA documentation for future reference and regulatory compliance.
Skills Required
- Proficient in ANSYS Workbench and ANSYS Classic.
- Experienced in Static, Nonlinear, Dynamic, Explicit, Rotor Dynamics, and Composite Analysis.
- Skilled in SpaceClaim and DesignModeler.
- Strong background in hand calculations and weld calculations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of working independently without support from peers.
- Committed to maintaining company-defined quality standards.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Well-versed in ASME, API, EN, and BS standards.
- Knowledge of HyperMesh and Abaqus is a plus.
- Ability to parameterize models and develop macros.
