Responsibilities:
- Designing processes and prototypes to build machines.
- Testing robotic systems
- Conduct research to determine the parameters of a robotic application.
- Design robotic systems from start to finish.
- Develop and implement software that will control robots.
- Create prototypes and work on necessary components (e.g., microprocessors)
Required Skills/Experience:
- Programming ability using Python and C/C++ ROS on Linux
- 3+ years of programming experience
- Experience contributing in group SW engineering projects
- Written and Oral communication in English
- Graduate degree with a thesis on social robotics or related topic
- Research experience in social robotics or related fields
- Experience in proposing new robot scenes and applications.
- Robot hardware debugging and repair experience.
